Public Enterprise "Belgrade Hippodrome" offers the possibility of lodging racehorses in 72 indoor and 35 outdoor barn stalls, on over 59 acres of land. Gallopers can train on a 1,500 m long (5 m wide) sandy track or in a circuit of the same length (20 m wide). Trotters can prepare on track with a small stone cover (length 1000 m, width 6 m) or racing ellipse of the same length (30 m wide). Showjumping horses and dressage horses can practice in sand Ring measuring 72 x 36 m or in sandy Parkour – measuring 96 x 72 m. Visitors can watch races from several buildings that make up amphitheater-like stands. These are VIP - Kings Lodge, grandstand (number of seats 2,260), and two additional stands (860).
Public Enterprise "Belgrade Hippodrome" is located between Senjak and Topčider, at the foothill of Kosutnjak, right near the "Belgrade Sea" - Ada Ciganlija, and belongs to Cukarica, one of the oldest municipalities of the capital. The tramway that leads to us is 3, 12, and 13, and all bus lines that pass Ada Ciganlia. Our location is ideal for family gatherings and traditional Sunday lunch in restaurants, "Uzelac" or "Princ".
