Public Enterprise ‘Belgrade Hippodrome’ has 72 boxes for permanent racehorse accommodation at its disposal, alongside 35 boxes beside the gallop track (the so-called outer boxes) which serve as the accommodation for guest racehorses during the racing days.
Future plans include the asphalt paving of the lanes from the horse stables to the tracks and the space in front of outer boxes. This will make the coordination of the horses during the racing days easier. The street light installation beside the outer boxes is also planned.
The former space for the horse accommodation used to be in the place of today's restaurant ''Mihajlovac'' which is somewhat elevated because of the frequent spills of the Topčider river.
